Mark Nelson is a Registered Architect based in Fort Worth, Texas, currently specializing in custom residential and secondary homes as well as remodeling existing buildings. His portfolio also includes resort and hospitality work from over 20 years as a licensed professional.
Intelligent, comfortable, responsible designs with a nod to the past, and an eye on the future are a hallmark of his work. Incorporating vernacular forms and Green practices ensure a timeless quality to his homes, creating livable spaces for todays needs while embracing the casual elegance and sophisticated leisure required by his clients.
He is a member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation and contributes regularly to several Environmental charities, including Friends of the Katy Trail, Rails to Trails, Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center and others.
He is currently studying to become a LEED Accredited Professional.
